You should buy a 3ds and this is why:

1) Resident evil revelations
2) Super Mario 3d Land
3) Ocarina of Time
4) Mario kart 7
5) Kid Icarus Uprising
6) Paper Mario: Sticker Star
7) Luigi´s Mansion
8) New super mario bros. 2
9) Zero´s Escape virtue´s last reward
10) Layton´s games
11) Fire Emblem kakusei

What is this (bold)? Never heard of it. I really don't care about RE though.

Its the same type of game of 999, and made by the same creators. 999 is a ds game, its a text game, you should read the reviews, the ign one is a good one. The game is one of those cases of "amazing game not known by people".

Resident evil isn't as great as people think if you dont have circle pad pro smh. Kid icarus was not so good, cuz bad controls. Paper mario is still a dont know game seeing its new idea isnt sounding great tho i do want the gsme since i loved all the rpg marios especially the original paper mario. New super mario bros 2 is good but nothing new at all, had more fun on the wii game. Zeros escape virtues last reward is releasing on vita also and it looks alot better on it. And matter a fact the games release, it had a better vita first week then 3ds, yes outsold its 3ds counterpart first week in japan and in japan they have under a million vitas sold and like 4 to 5 mill 3ds. That says something. Layton games are only good to certain people, if you like to actually play games and not just think all day. That aint your game, virtue is only good if you like heavy rain type games. Fire emblem have a very small base, and disgaea is by far a better series. Fire emblem really onky has such a good name because smash. But 3ds has some awesome games like mario kart 7,sm3dland zelda oot3d wnd so on. But problem is apart from mario kart none of the game are not fun long term and most if not all are fairly easy games, like they made em only for kids 6 and under, even resident evil was fairly easy. Alot simpler then 4 and 5. Not to say they are easy or hard but around average. If tacticle games like fire emblem is tbis persons thing, disgaea has way more depth and is the best tacticle series out right now. Virtue is better to play on vita, and kid icarus aint worth the time with those horrible controls, i stopped and sold it after a hour lol. Kingdom hearts is the real must have on 3ds and mario kart, anything else aint really to important other then zelda or course lol

I disagree on almost everything you just said.

nothing wrong with that. But I'm curious, what don't you agree with? Because I'm sure most of what if not all is correct.

Resident Evil really needs the second stick to have a decent experience.

Virtue's Last Reward, is better on PS Vita by far.

Kid Icarus has horrible controls

Disgaea is the best Tacticle RPG series and is better then Fire Emblem and has way more depth

Most 3DS game difficulty level is too low. It really is, when playing games from nintendo and super nintendo where big.

This is completely opinionated when saying the mario kart and kingdom hearts is the only important games aside from zelda.

But it is a fact playing these games long term ain't happening because there is nothing to keep you playing on most games. NSMB2 tried but the BS you get for collection 999999999 was the stupidest reward for that amount of play, atleast a achievement or trophy would keep your honor lol.

And NSMB2 really is nothng new. Coin collecting is something i did all the time nothing new im a person who loves to complete everything in games. And flying because you have a raccoon tail doesn't make sense still to this day. Atleast everything else has a slight bit of logic behind it lol. And gold mario -.- smh bad idea. NSMBW had a better game and better suites lol

But guess nothing wrong with playing these, but as someone who plays nintendo and playstation, these things just seem so obvious

1) i played it without the circle pad pro, and it´s an amazing game

2)It´s not. You get the same experience.

3) They are not horrible controls. The game just have a learning curve bigger than most of the games nowadays.

4)Fire Emblem is waaaay better

5)NSMB2 Is nothing new? So the levels are the same as the ds and wii versions? Majora´s mask is  a spectacular game, and what are the differences with OOT? It´s not so different. A game doesnt need to change drastically from the last one to be good.

lol see thats why nintendo pulls some of this bs, nsmb2 hqs NOTHING new lol. Your arguing because it has new levels (not literally arguing but disagreeing), thats a sadvway to look at it.

As someone who plays shooters with dual analog which this person clearly does, its uncomfortable and unnecessarly amount of annoying trash.

Fire Emblem as is not better this disgaea and im not going to argue this, disgaeas depth alone says it all.

Kid Icarus HAS bad controls no matter which way you look at it, if i could use circle pad pro and not just for left handed people it would have good controls and probably be a pretty awesome game.

Oh and a Graphic Novel will always be better on what its presented better on, in this case the PS Vita wins.

Just get the Vita already.

Why are the sales so weak

$80 cheaper competitor, many of the biggest sellers aren't out yet.

and the software line up so lackluster then ?

Why do you say it's lackluster? The next year looks awesome to me.

Get a PS Vita simple. Why
With PS3 and PS Vita you get Cross Play and Cross buy
And you like LittleBigPlanet, so you'll love the PS version of Wii U play with LittleBigPlanet 2.
If you can get the LittleBigPlanet PS Vita on Sept. 25.
I see you also like checking out gadgets and whatnot. PS Vita has so much depth to it.
Multiplatform games will almost always be better on PS Vita because controls, power and screen plus in game music and party chat. Just look at blazblue and rayman, lego batman was held back to 3ds standards and sega said sonic and allstars racing for vita runs the same engine and framerate as consoles and has the same metal sonic preorder dlc which is also a PS Vita plus.
You like using this site? Well guess what! I've been using my PS Vita for this site for atleast a week and quoting and everything works perfectly with no issues.
PS Vita has screenshots. I love the show Fairy Tail so I went on PS Vitas Youtube and turned Parts of the Creditless openings into my Background.
PS Vita has a crazy holiday line up coming and even into next year.
PS Vita allows downloads of ALL retail games.
Quite a few PS3 games get you free PS Vita downloads, wipeout is 20 here now and if you have wipe out hd and/or fury you get the addons free for which ever. But game examples, guacamelee, sly, ratchet, ps allstars etc.
And the BIGGEST point why PS Vita should automatically win. NO REGION LOCK, why support something that doesnt want you to buy it? Yes you can import games, but why do that when PS Vita is right there and has ps3 connectivity which expands you ps3s ability?
Winner: You

VITA

I really don't like to you in this dilemma... All I can say is if you're willing to put up with the importation of games, go get the 3DS. Otherwise get the PSPvita for the cheaper deals and cross gaming.

It's all up to you, lad. Good luck!

The software line up is not lackluster. There are some amazing games already available after less than a year, Uncharted, Hot Shots Golf, Wipeout, Katamari, Dynasty Warriors, Mortal Kombat, Unit 13, Sound Shapes, Rayman Origins, etc. and plenty more coming soon, LBP, AC, CoD, Killzone, Tearaway, Bioshock, Soul Sacrifice, Street Fighter x Tekken, PSASBR, etc.

The reason the sales are doing so poorly is due to stiff competition from the 3DS and its price drop fiasco and the popularity of smart phones and tablet products. The second reason is Sony hate. There are a distrubing amount of customers dedicated towards giving Sony a bad name. Be it from business decisions revolving around consumer rights (i.e. hackers) or from the vastly popular Xbox creating a consumer war. In Japan, the publishers are to blame. The "death" of the JRPG is actually a exodus as a result of Japanese publishers choice to stop funding home console games and concentrate on the PSP because it is cheaper and easier to develop for. Japan is still  waiting for the titles to reach the Vita meanwhile games have still been coming out on PSP. Japanese publishers are late to the party because they aren't willing to take risks or use forsight, now that the Vita is out there more games will appear but it takes time to make them. Those games will sell the Vita there, just look at Person 4 the golden's sales when it released, Vita shot up crazy over there and P4 sold 180,000 copies right away. Until those games come Vita will be selling poorly and PSP games will reach the top of the sales chart.

Vita itself is an amazing system all around. Hardware, design, software, mult-function. It is like a PS3 turned into a PSP that does what a smartphone/tablet does. PSP was a mutli-media device on top of a gaming handheld. Vita is a mult-medi multi-functional device on top of a gaming handheld. More people just need to experience it, see marketing for it, and the consumer war against Sony needs to die off.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Its a great console with an enticing lineup. If you have the money I say go for it. The DS had a huge library of games too so you have plenty of choices

Don't listen to them. Get a 3ds XL. Wait for the vita 2000 next year and hopefully it will have games actually worth buying a console for. By waiting till holiday 2013, you can also see if vita actually takes off or if it fades quickly and memory cards will be cheaper. Also don't be fooled by bundles. more bundles will exist next year and will be cheaper. 3ds has a better fall lineup and library. It also gives you access to a more diverse array of games. Everything vita's got ps3 has in spades and does better. Runa said so himself with such a long list of ports that are, to be quite honest, viewed as generally inferior.

My question to you is why should I wait for a Vita revision when the current one seems almost perfect (hardware wise of course)? What more could they do?

Lighter, brighter, last longer on a charge, perhaps actually having built in memory so you don't have to blow a large sum of money on higher capacity memory cards. I guess get what you want, but the path sony is taking the vita on is not one I would be interested in at least at the current price. Pretty much every game on the vita has a superior version on the ps3. All those ports Runa listed.... better on ps3. Golden Abyss... 3 superior ps3 counterparts. AC Liberation....AC 3. CoD Declassified....Black Ops 2. Resistance(viewed as terrible).... Resistance 1 through 3. Sly Cooper Thieves in Time...also on ps3. PASBR...also on ps3. LBP...LBP 1 and 2. Killzone...Killzone trilogy. The vita just doesn't have the games to warrant its purchase if one already has a ps3 and even if one doesn't, it still is debateable. Just be prepared to pay a lot of money for games you probably could get cheaper on the ps3 with better graphics...
