I don't know about that. My laptop can handle skyrim fine on high settings. But when I play diablo 3 and am fighting a lot enemies, the game lags significantly even on medium graphics. HP laptop with radeon 6620g and 6750m that are suppose to run in crossfire. Though maybe blizzard games are just more demanding on the processor. My laptop has a pretty crappy processor. Quad core llano at 1.5ghz, turbo boost up to 2.4ghz.

i think its best to go with a desktop. one of the things you have to worry about with a laptop is heat. thats what kills it faster i think.

How's your net connection? That could also be the cause of your lag.

I have an ATI 6520 in my laptop. Only tried playing Dota 2 and some minor indies so far and they run well. Should run Starcraft 2 well enough. Don't know about Diablo 3.

Diablo 3 should run fine. It's not that demanding. I was able to run it on my 2011 Macbook Air with an Integrated Intel HD 3000 gpu (the one I mentioned above.) It was at low settings for everything and that resolution wasn't very high (1440 x 900), but I could play it. The GT 650M will run the game fine on a laptop.

*I was playing it on my laptop when I had trouble getting the game to install on my Win7 desktop. It took awhile to get that resolved, but the game runs much better on my GTX 580 SLI desktop. ;-p

My laptop also uses that GPU. Plays D3 just fine at 1366x768 with low settings.
