Depends on if you want to play a hack n slash game or an open world game.
Sleeping Dogs fall way short from the classic triad movies of Hong Kong cinema. Thankfully the gameplay is fantastic, with a most successful attempt and implementing shooting and fist fighting in an open world game. With foot chases, car stunts and standard cover based gunplay, its all very fun and the action stays fresh and fun throughout the game. The story isn’t interest enough to keep most players engaged, but if you are in the mood for playing an open world game set in HK, then you should get this game.
Darksiders 2 is a good improvement from the first game, especially the gameplay, collectable and loot system. However, I am completely let down by the story and style. The first game was a great battle between angels & demons set in a post apocalyptic earth. This time round, the action takes place in a Dungeons & Dragons inspired ‘nether realm’’ where everybody speaks with a Scottish tongue. Death is a great character, voiced brilliantly by Michael Wincott, but the main story is crap compared to the first game.
