I'm still a subscriber to the U.K's Official Nintendo Magazine. I hope that continues for many years

This is pretty sad for Nintendo fans like me. Not the most unbiased magazine, but they would often give great previews of upcoming Nintendo titles.

I've been a subscriber since issue 116 (Castlevania 64 was on the front cover), and I can't tell you how bummed I am right now.

Really sad indeed, unfortunately I kind see this one coming for a long time, really few people still reads magazines nowadays in favor of the the internet. Nintendo Power was special because of its tips and how to beat the game kind of thing, but now you can get those by just typing a few words on google, and IMO the magazine lost its charm a long time ago.

But I will always remember those amazing and weird ads they have back in the 90's

Unfortunate but not unexpected.

It's been a couple years since I've seen a copy on any store's shelves and my own subscription was merely discontinued without any notice or attempt to get me to re-subscribe (which I would have been happy to do).

Sadly, what's in the lastest edition of NP always broke online before my copy ever arrived so there wasn't much point to continuing it anyway.

Dang I was subscribed a back in 2000-2003. Always thought about resubscribing.

Wow, kinda sad. I haven't bought a copy of that magazine for many a year but it was pretty good back in the day.

Dude, I just renewed my subscription! The hell is gonna happen to my money? This is pretty sad, as I've been a loyal subscriber for many years...

This is a sad day for Nintendo fans. I remember how awesome it was to get a new copy and when you were done with it the cover on the spine would show a picture that would help chronicle the magazine and be nice to have your magazines on a shelf instead of a drawer. I thought they would have gotten many more subscribers with the success of the Wii, but I guess you need to be partnered with a retail store in order for your magazine to survive nowadays.

I never got one but i've seen others exitement for it. Specially Angry Video Game Nerd.
