Really sad indeed, unfortunately I kind see this one coming for a long time, really few people still reads magazines nowadays in favor of the the internet. Nintendo Power was special because of its tips and how to beat the game kind of thing, but now you can get those by just typing a few words on google, and IMO the magazine lost its charm a long time ago.
But I will always remember those amazing and weird ads they have back in the 90's
