A Playstation Thread and Turkish hasnt commented yet :/
As long as my PS3 runs Fifa I am perfectly fine with it. All the other I can play on PC as well if needed. And I think the PS4 wont launch until 2014
I don't need or want a PS4. At least not until they announce/release any games for it that I'd like to play.
I don't need a PS4, but I want one really bad.
The PS3 is really showing its age. After playing Killzone in 3D, with the move, I don't want to play FPS's any other way. I look forward to a PS4 pushing 1080p/30fps per eye, and a dual camera motion tech system, with Vita as a second screen.
I also want a system that is much more capable of multi-tasking.
I want a system built around an SSD, and much fast storage media.
I want a vastly improved UI.
I want a system capable of more interactive adventures, with much smarter AI.
All I don't want is some cheap, $400, half step, consumer raping, disgrace of a next generation, waste of money, corporate console, made to please, sleazy, lower class hating, sack a crap, share holders.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

The fact that I have so many games still sitting there waiting to be played means that I'm pretty bored with current gen most of the time. This gen has lasted way too long my tastes. Either that or I'm getting bored of gaming.
I don't need one. The PS3 still keeps me happy and there are still quite a few games that I want to get, both unreleased and released. Until then, I wouldn't buy one.

Okay, my response.
Personally, I don't want a PS4 anytime soon. The PS3, although 6 years old now, surely has a good 3 or 4 years left in it. Was it not stated as having a healthy 10 year lifespan and because it's not reached the sweet pricepoint yet, it would get quite a boost in sales as well. At the moment it is selling more WW compared to the cheaper 360 and Wii.
Technically, I'm not sure what we should expect from the PS4 anyway. Do we really need better looking games compared to cost of console? We certainly don't want another $600 console on release and the only way they will get a lift on first day sales is if it's closer to $300 on release, but what does that mean for graphical performance etc.
On other thing to note, is the buy out of Gaikai as well. Surely this service would work a treat on the PS3 (if we have fast enough Internet performance)?
I don't want to have to spend a fortune buying a new system at the moment considering I personally feel that we are tapping into graphical performance of a whole new level with The Last of Us, Beyond and GOW:A that could begin the 3rd age of PS3 gaming.
When do I think Sony will announce and release the PS4? Well I sincerely doubt they will announce it before E3 2013....and doubt it will release until mid to late 2014...but we will see.
Prediction (June 12th 2017)
Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.
PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)
PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)

Yes.
It means renewed third party interest, a better processor and more RAM, an upgraded PSN and renewed sales arguments on VGC.
Hey tuppence is how much a bag of bird seed costs!
As long as it's a significant step forward then yes I need and want the PS4. However, I highly doubt it will be here before the end of 2014.
