Forums - Microsoft - How Xbox Live is blatantly better than PSN

This is not trolling. Everyone obviously doesn't have a good sense of what that word means. That and it seems only half of you cared to read the whole OP. Do yourself a favor, turn around and read the whole thing before you post.

This is satire. Think Stephan Colbert with a mix of Lewis Black.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

The following is a formal apology due to my lacking/uneducated knowledge of what the word "trolling" truly means: Sorry, bro.

Hope that makes up for it.

I know how its better it cost more lol. Here's something your xbox connect cant do. Say Xbox free, I bet it dont work.

Har har. Not trying to point you out exactly, a bunch of people called it that. The word is thrown around a lot to here on the interents. Trolling is sort of in a similar to satire, but trolling is more like getting punked. For those who only read the first part of two could easily write it off as trolling, and you've seen the examples of tl;dr on this site.

 That was kind of funny!

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Gotta say i completely disagree.

Temporary online play should be free because its temporary and its costs should be included in the box sales.

Nintendo and SONY offer free online gaming and the PSN plus program gives alot of value for your game purchases with free games and discounts.

Xbox live has twitter? Netflix? etc? I dont care. I buy a games machine for games thus the rival services are alot better. Microsoft is just blatantly trying to rob your money with your consent because you wanna play your games online for the 3 years the servers are up (also not counting the fact that after the first few months the servers will be so dead that no further proper online gaming is possible). Its underhanded and disgusting in my opinion, wich is why i never payed it nor ever will and next gen im going to buy a playstation or Wii U instead of a new Xbox.

You do realize that the whole article is pure trolling?

It was so full of it that i couldnt read past the second paragraph... good that it is a joke though. Would've been very sad otherwise.

I played on steam, battle.net, PSN, Dreamarena and Xbox Live. Xbox Live is by FAR the best service on the market.

The UI and integration of all the apps works just perfectly fine. Better than anywhere else. The content is awesome, the online gameplay works easily, same for the cloud storage, cross game chat, perfect customer service (something PC gamers don't even know in this form), integration with PCs is already pretty good and smartglass will be another step in the right direction.

XBLA > every online-game-service on the market.

Steam has good deals from time to time, but is full with cheaters. CSS, CS 1.6 is nearly unplayable. It doesn't feel like a community at all. Account-hacking is pretty bad, too.

Battle.net is full with hackers as well. 2 out of 5 games on WC3 (I still love that game) is against someone using MH.

PSN has a crappy UI, less content, fewer apps, no cross game chat at all, but more updates which take forever to download. Not everybody has a headset.

Sure you pay for XBL, but it is worth it. I am a XBL gold-member for 8 or 9 years and I don't regret a single day.

Its not worth it, paying 60 euros to access Twitter or YouTube is not worth it. Free services like PSN and Steam are the best, you cant beat free services. Online gaming has always been free. I dont see why anybody would pay for Live anymore when PS4 launches with more ram this x game chat, Vita already does it.

Paid sex better than free sex? I think your argument is blatantly flawed but I don't care.

For only $9.95 a month, too!  This was back in 2001 so $10 a month adjusted for inflation comes out to roughly $700 a minute (if my calculations are correct.).  This was probably a year before Xbox Live was available on the original Xbox (where it cost $50 a year).  And that's today's "Lesson in Video Game History".

Literally every feature you mentioned as a benefit of XBLA is available on Steam. And i can access Facebook and Twitter on my PC and my phone, without having to pay $60.

and one of your complaints about PSN was that not everyone has a headset.... how is that the networks fault? The capability is there. Imsure there are millions of XBLA users who dont use a headset, and there are also millions of XBLA users who are annoying moany idiots who chat constantly on their headset. $60 for that? No thankyou!

Current Game Machines: 3DS, Wii U, PC.

Currently Playing: X-Com(PC), Smash Bros(WiiU), Banner Saga(PC), Guild Wars 2(PC), Project X Zone(3DS), Luigis Mansion 2(3DS), DayZ(PC)
