And... Obon is in air! Next week going to be huge!

At best, there were 300k active subscriptions in Japan alone for FFXI. How is that possible if there is only 120k sales for FFXI PS2? Well, because even in Japan most FFXI players are PC players. In europe, I suspect that over 95% of the players of FFXI have never ever seen PS2 version of the FFXI or even know it exists.

With NSMBU coming this holiday, expect NSMB2 to sell even less, or kill U numbers. Next year will be interesting to see if both have good legs or if one of them dominates the other.

Onitore is barely tracking under Brain Age 1 in Japan so far. Brain Age 2 came out the week of Christmas '06, which was both later in the DS's life and, well, the week of Christmas.

You must have expected it to only do worse than Brain Age 2, because BA1 didn't hit 100k until its third week.

Okay we finally have some download numbers for NSMB 2 and Onitore.

NSMB2 - ~5% DL sales (Almost 40,000)
Oni Training - ~20% DL sales (Almost 20,000)

Overall for NSMB 2 = +800k (from the latest Media Create)
Overall for Onitore = 115k (from the latest Media Create)
