lol that's one of the biggest jokes i read the last years about a pc game. i mean, even 720p looks horrible on a pc screen if you have a decent size because you sit so closes to it that it is a gigantic difference to a higher res and ths is even lower? and then they make the game a 30fps game even if i could play it with 60fps (or much more with that low res lol) that makes not even sense^^

I play Fallout 3 at 720p on my 15.6" monitor, it looks fine to me



 Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

I play Fallout 3 at 720p on my 15.6" monitor, it looks fine to me

yeah great a 15.6'' laptop screen. play a 720p game (and this game is below that) on a 21'' or more pc screen and same viewing distance and you will think it is a bad joke.

so,  just because you are used to play in 1366xwhatever on a small screen doesn't mean that others don't have huge problems with that and that this wouldn't also be a problem for you if you would have a bigger screen. on your screen it is maybe acceptable and no big prob.

WTF? That's horrible. Even PCs in 1998 could run games at a higher resolution (Voodoo 2 SLI@1024 x 768!). Plus it's locked at 30fps and has trouble even maintaining that at such a low (sub HD) resolution? (from the gaf thread)

I was considering getting the PC version of this game. My friend is a big fan of the PS3 game and since they never released the 360 version in Japan, the PC version seemed like the best option. Until now...

The game isn't 720p, it's locked at a sub HD resolution. 720p would be 1280 x 720 (or higher), while this is 1024 x 720 and still has framerate problems.

Yeah, I hate to say it, but I'm not picking this up unless I hear reports that this stuff has been fixed in some way.

And considering how inefficient it apparently is, struggling to hit 30fps at this resolution, that doesn't seem likely

Imagine 360/PS3 getting a Wii port with no change in resolution (or framerate). Now imagine the game is not just a random shovelware. Should people care? Yes, because they could have easily done better.

They could not have easily done better they aren't good with pc games right? Also i don't think the graphical difference is that extreme.
