Forums - Sony - RUMORANG-The Last Guardian Trademark “Dead” and “Abandoned

Did they just forgot then?

Seriously, someone should apply to buy it! Than blackmail Sony for 1 million dollars

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they forgot the expiration time of it and/or there's a rule about needing to let it expire officially before re-applying. But I'm sure, unless they are thinking of a name change, they have already started to bid for it.

After six or seven years they have nothing to show for it except that one cool trailer. Probably the most expensive trailer though.

Well this is just great. Million of dollars wasted, and thousands of hearts broken.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Goddammit! The neogaf thread is gif-hilarious, I'm literally loling at work!

If true, its hilarious. Incompetant development at its biggest.

Lets wait and see though. Name change?

To be honest, I don't think I would have like TLG as much as SoTC since it didn't seem to be as action-focused.

If they do work on a new title, I'd like to see them make an action title.

Reminds me of Sonic Xtreme.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Yes cause an US Trademark means so much.
In Japan its still there and they say every month its still in work and stuff.

It will probably just have an other name in the US if they don't renew the Trademark.
Something like "KILLER GORE MASSACRE GAME" or something like that.

Moment of silence...

I don't actually believe this. Sure, the game has already cost them more money than it can possibly make them, but wouldn't it be better to just get the game out the door then? Instead of letting it die and making absolutely none of the money back? I still think it will come out. The quality is another deal though...
