Ugh no. The New series has its ocassional ugly moments, but dirty brown is NOT the direction I want to see Mario in. If anything, I'd like to see Skyward Sword style graphics in a Mario spinoff or something.

What I wanted to say is that the SMB-series should take a new direction, it doesn't have to look like this - but I would like better graphics! I agree Mario needs more color, so taking a note from Skyward Sword isn't a bad idea!!

Mario Kart already lets you play older tracks with new ones, right? Who wouldn`t like to play old levels with a twist?

THat would be sweet :D You simply pick a door and plays a certain mario game :P be it kart or SMB3... this actuallt sounds like NintendoLand ^^

Like Super Mario 64 where you go through the paintings or just like the new super mario Bros scheme.

That looks as bland as 80 year old's skin.

Since you've already been knocked for this several times I'll let you off... but I'm keeping my eyes on you!!!

I think you need to play more 2d games then. Rayman Origins/Generations, LBP, Trine, Sonic 4, etc.   But this is a 2d Mario and I dont play those for cutting edge graphics, thats what 3d mario is for

This, they can keep the same graphical style as this screenshot but just add more color, its not rocket science, hell even Killzone 3 had more color than 2
