Damn! I must have misunderstood it then... Yeah, that really is unimpressive! But I'm not all that surprised: I never thought that NSMB2 would sell as well as the original - but only half?? But it's like y'all say; gotta wait for the DD numbers. Thanks for the clarification!

Calm down. It's half in half the days + Downloads

Even if it gets a litte short, it's not bad by any means. The others had spetacular launches (being first of all helps and Wii game was released in the busiest week of the Holidays).

What really counts for those games are legs.

yeah, let's watch and see the LTD ;)

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Am I the only one who thinks that 431k copies sold in 2 days is an amazing number? co

No, I think it's amazing as well! I don't see why ppl are complaining about 430k in TWO days!! What gives??

I think it's because of two things

1 - Compared to the previous Marios it felt a little short (maybe).

2 - The hardware did so great, that people expected more from the game.

How much did NSMB do on the DS in it's first week - and more importantly, in it's first two days...? Wasn't it something along the lines of 480k? If so, it's not that bad at all.

[NDS] New Super Mario Bros. - First day sales (480,000) - First week (865,024).

[Wii] New Super Mario Bros. Wii - First day sales (420,000) - First week (936,734).

First week = 4 days.NSMB 2 First Week = 2 days

Like I said, I falls a little short. Digital sales might help these numbers, by a little or even a lot, though

Arent those numbers worldwide? I might be wrong but I recall New Super Mario Bros released worldwide one same day no?

Even first day for them was bigger than first two days here, so it's not like I need to see the two days to know that this one is hugely down compared to the others.

Where in the world did you get that first day numbers were largely better?

You know we don't even have all of the NSMB2 numbers, right?

I did. And that's what I saw. It's doing fine.

IGN's daily fix shows a little bit of the stores selling the LL
