Funnily enough I didn't like to be called Stan, as my full name is Stanislav - which is usually shortened for "Stas" not sure how.. But yeah that's the common variation of the name in Eastern Europe/ex-USSR countries, so when I came to the UK people called me Stas, because that's how I've introduced myself. However, Stan has grown on me and now I actually introduce myself as Stan to new peeps, whereas my old friends still call me Stas.

I think this username has really became my common username after I've registered for the XBL, I wanted something sorta original - ie without any crappy numbers on the end or in between, at the time that's all I came up with. Bless my 15 year old mind.
