"Nintendo-Like" modes? Do they seriously believe that will be a selling point for Tekken?

I don't see why not. It will be the same game as on the PS3 and 360 plus extra modes for the Wii U utnop the Wii U's graphics. I don't see how that couln't be a selling point.

Going but the picture it looks like you will be able to increase your characters size by grabbing a mushroom in battle. That should give some insight into what the benfits will be. Give me a fire flower with law and I'm set.

Nintendo is known to create games and hardware that normally goes against the current. It's what makes them special. People play Nintendo games for the sake of its specialty, and opt out to play all other games simply because it isn't a Nintendo game.

To each his own, I guess.

That is a long running misconception

You and I know this. I can't actually prove this. I can only assume by going by all the articles that bashes no Nintendo but that could lead to me misinterpreting articles; however, you cannot prove to me neither that this actually so. It's fanboyism.

Every third party game that had real effort ot it sold well on Nintendo's console.

Game that had real effor twere rare though. People who own Nintendo systems buy "good" games. They have standards. Good games sell on Nintendo systems. Just look at Skylanders. Its was released on the PS3, 360 and the Wii. The Wii version sold more than the PS3 and 360 versions combined. The reason wny is that the Wii version was well made.

Rare because I would go back on your Square Enix thread about understanding Nintendo philosophy, specifically with Wii. I would also break down the different genre of games as well as the different consumers for consoles but that would be me nitpicking but that doesn't completely mean it's true or it isn't. Besides, "good" games is extremely subjective on the eyes of the consumers.

That is the point. Consumers buy what they think is good. What they think is good tends to correspond with quality. Of course that is assuming they know the game exists. Most 3rd parties didn't promote or advertise their Wii games well aside from incomplete effort but that is another story.

Games that were creative and had effort put into them did much better than simple ports and games made with a fraction of the effort put into PS3 and 360 games.

Another thing that goes along with that is that games on Nintendo consoles have long shelf lives. This is because the game aren't being sold on hype alone which leads to huge first day/week sales and then a steep decrease into nothingness. True quality manifests itself as sells on a Nintendo system.

Show me some 3rd party games on a Nitendo console which received a 4/5 or better review that flopped. You will find very few and those were generally games that lacked depth and appeal like Boom Blocks.

Super Smash Bros. Tekken, then?

Crazy.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I saw this at E3. I hope to see it implemented well. I need to see more info about this.
Also, in a way, I agree with the Wii U gamepad's distraction. I have Street Fighter for 3DS and the inclusion of touch actually is a little distracting. I know it is optional, but like I said I hope to know more detail about this, and hope they implement Nintendo-like features well.
