I'd never even heard of the Darkness franchise before the Steam sale.

What? It started with this gen of consoles, and the first one was well known and sold reasonably well. And the second one was launched last year. How could you ignore the existance of these games?

probably because I started out this gen.on the Wii, and I pretty mich ignored the other two consoles until June 2011, when I got my PS3

Anyway, those Darkness games do look pretty impressive.

Thanks for the input everyone. I just bought it. As a new steam gamer (getting ready to go to college without a console), I'm really impressed by Steam's prices.

Same here, my parents don't want me to take my Ps3 to college. At least, not for the first semester. After I see all these deals I almost wish I'd been a Pc gamer all along.

you just end up saving so much money when you game on pc it's a joke!

what is "E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy" and is it good?

Day 8 (I think):

Alan Wake: $7.50
Plans v Zombies: $2.50
Fallout New Vegas: $5.00 and Ultimate Edition $10 (Fallout 3 also 75% off)
Witcher 2: $16.00 (60% off) (Witcher 1 Enhanced Edition $2.50)
Amnesia Dark Descent: $5.00

Those are the important ones :)

I am loving Fallout 3!!! It's awesome!! It freezes every once in a while but that's okay. Its so good it makes up for it.

Try this, it should stop the freezing almost completely. It worked for me.

I think it's like the third of fourth time they are on sale these past few days....

There are so many discounts being repeated its frustrating! They should give other developers a chance to have their game share the limelight. There are still a few indie titles on my wishlist that I want to get that I am not getting a special discount for. I may just end up buying them on the last day with their regular discount, but come ooon! Enough alan wake, enough bastion, enough amensia, I already got all those! haha hook me up with something new valve!

Games that I bought during the sale: Alan Wake collection (75% off), Bastion (75%), FEAR 3 (75%), The Walking Dead (40%), Tiny & Big: Grandpa's Leftovers (35%). Right before the sale I got Deus Ex: HR (75%), and LA Noire (75%).

Games I still want: Lone Survivor, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Rayman Origins (this already got a discount but I want it to go lower). If I get these 3, then I picked up every game I wanted in this sale (with the exception of FEAR 3 which was an impulse buy at $5 I couldn't resist).

Is it weird that the steam sales genuinely make me happy? I have been following it so closely like I am hooked to a mexican soap opera! ALEJANDRO NO!!!!!!!!!
