I hope Fable 3 wins this voting, I've wanted that game for looong time

if you put a gun to my head and asked me to predict which game would win, I would say Fable 3. I'm pretty sure it's the most well-known game of the three. I'd never even heard of the Darkness franchise before the Steam sale. 

You already missed it the first time!

I almost got Fable 3 when it was on sale earlier. I decided not to because it kind of looked not very serious, with all the fancy hand shakes and pelvic thrusting and what not. I'm sure it's still a good game, but I wanted something a little more badass.

Then an hour ago I watched the Dragon Age Origins trailer on Steam. People were getting stabbed left and right. It was action packed to the point that they couldn't have added more blood and guts if they wanted to. This is how it went:

Me: THIS LOOKS AWESOME AND BADASS! I NEED IT!!

Thanks for the input everyone. I just bought it. As a new steam gamer (getting ready to go to college without a console), I'm really impressed by Steam's prices.

Personally, I didn't like it. I bought it months ago (hard copy, it was 10€ new) and tried it for a few hours. But it didn't grew on me, so I stopped playing.

The Mediacritic score isn't a perfect representation of how good or bad a game is. If you love a genre, a 70's game will be better than a 90's game of a genre you don't like.

What? It started with this gen of consoles, and the first one was well known and sold reasonably well. And the second one was launched last year. How could you ignore the existance of these games?

Thanks Steam. Now I'm addicted to Tropico again. Tropico 4 + modern times expansion, a lot more fun then waiting for the next Sim city.

The new panic meter was a bit of a problem in the beginning though. Every time I got things on track everyone panicked and started killing each other, wiping out 30% of the population. Not good when you have 80 open job positions on a population of 60 people.

I have a problem though. Every time I start a new game thinking this time I'm going to be a proper dictator, no elections, big well paid army, religious police state, heavy industry, shitty wages, shacks everywhere, secret police to assasinate the rebels, especially those whiny intellectuals and environmentalists. Yet I always end up with a socialist utopia :(
