If you tell them game X is popular they will love it. If you tell them game Y is unpopular, they will hate it. They have no opinions of their own when it comes to gaming. So when discussing games with them, yes, I have a certain arrogance about me. But to other enthusiasts such as myself (and everyone here) I don't act arrogant at all, usually i'm eager to see what I can learn from them. Basically I see the "sheep mentality" as a form of laziness, and sometimes I feel a bit more superior because I don't fall into the habit of believing what everyone else does, for the sake of fitting in. |
What do you think caused you to not follow the sheep mentality? How come you think the sheep mentality is lazy as opposed to your friends? Was it a particular game you played that was unpopular and it compelled you to start researching more unique games? Because that's what happened to me.
