Then launch price of the Wii+ Tablet controller would be a good way of getting a good estimate I'd think. $299-349 seems plausible.

loli posted these prices in another threas about a week ago when people where having a meltdown at the amazon place holder, without reading it was an estimate.
fun times haha.
basedon the past, I am expecting the Wii U to be $450 tops in AUD.
Oh for cryin' out loud... are we STILL having threads debating the Wii U's price??
It's going to be $299 at launch, and come with a "tablet controller" and Nintendo Land as a pack in. All of these things have been all but officially confirmed by the Big N themselves.
Nintendo says it's going to be more expensive than the Wii but also "competitively priced" (c'mon, like it's really gonna be $100 or more than the Wii was). The Wii had existing current-gen hardware with all new motion controllers and software packed in for just $250, and now they're doing the same just with a controller with a touch screen in the middle. Can't be more than $50 more than the Wii was.... anything higher and and it will look like a joke compared to a $99 w/ subscription Xbox 360 during the holidays that has games with the same quality graphics as a brand new console does.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
I think it will be launched at $350. Seems like the highest price they could get away with. If its higher than that I think I might just get a second hand one.
What's up?
It's on 450 EUR to pre-order at Carrefour. Doesn't mean shit.
It's been discussed to the death, but the 300 range seems reasonable and doable. And that 300 figure is the same everywhere meaning: 300 USD, 300 EUR, 300 GBP, 300 AUD, 300 SEK, ... I'm gonna import it from Sweden this time :)

The PS3 is still $380-$400 AUD here.
3DS is $250 AUD
so I doubt the WiiU will be $300 AUD. It will be a HUGE shock if it is.
I think it will be more than the Wii was at launch. I think 300 dollars
Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.
Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

My thread was supposed to be about retail estimates that shops have put up. A few people just didn't get that though.
