Oh for cryin' out loud... are we STILL having threads debating the Wii U's price??
It's going to be $299 at launch, and come with a "tablet controller" and Nintendo Land as a pack in. All of these things have been all but officially confirmed by the Big N themselves.
Nintendo says it's going to be more expensive than the Wii but also "competitively priced" (c'mon, like it's really gonna be $100 or more than the Wii was). The Wii had existing current-gen hardware with all new motion controllers and software packed in for just $250, and now they're doing the same just with a controller with a touch screen in the middle. Can't be more than $50 more than the Wii was.... anything higher and and it will look like a joke compared to a $99 w/ subscription Xbox 360 during the holidays that has games with the same quality graphics as a brand new console does.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
