Aww.... I thought this would be Sales Predictions. I am disappointed!

Anywho, I wouldn't really know about story predictions as I haven't watched the first Dark Knight Movie. Though, I know, Anne Hathaway will be hot.

My prediction:  Whatever Avengers made--double that.

That's a really high prediction, D21! O_O

I predict the Dark Knight's tactical & strategic prowess, indisputable resiliency, and remarkable resolve will overcome a powerful, as well as a master strategist himself, Bane.

Catwoman will be the one to convince Bruce wayne that Batman is, in fact, needed more than ever, and will play an instrumental in the rise of the Dark Knight.

Good dedictive skills on the Riddler part. I failed to even realized that. Most likely then, Riddler will make an appearance after all in the Dark Knight Lucious Fox gave out a clue on Catwoman's appearance in the next movie, "We talking Rottweilers or Chihuahuas? Should do fine against cats."

Overall, we may see cameo apperances:
-Zsasz along with many small names like Prometheus or Zeus but in names only or pictures
-Scarecrow since Nolan likes to recycle his actors
-a small story arc, similar to Two-Face in Dark Knight, by Black Mask, The Ventriloquist, Deadshot, and/or Prof Strange (Only one or two or these; and NO Penguin!)
-I thought about Clayface being a puppet for Ra's Al Ghul, but no.
-After end credits, we will hear a humorous quirky voice with Hyenas cackling in the background, and finally capping it off with a long maniacal laugh!

Bruce Wayne dies; Joker becomes Batman. You heard it here first.

(Seriously, though, I do believe that Bruce will be replaced as Batman and that he will die)

1. I have to respectfully disagree on this part, sir.  In the trailer when she says he's given them everything, it sounds to me like she's the one telling him to call it quits while Bruce is trying to convince her that it's not time yet.

2. Can't take the credit for it, unfortunately haha.  I've watched the movie probably 100 times, but I didn't catch that until IGN brought it up today.  It would make sense though.  He's a new character that was suddenly important, not to mention that 'Coleman Reese' is sort of a strange name for someone to just think of randomly.  Also, Riddler has often been depicted as working for Wayne Enterprises, and he's certainly brilliant enough to figure out who Batman is.

3. It's already confirmed that he's gonna be in it :)

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

I really hope they don't kill Batman, but truthfully, I know I'll love the film so much, I'll love it whatever they do :)

and d21lewis and thekitchensink have got me even more pumped for this film!!!!!! :D

There have been a few predictions of sales for this movie. Also you can get some more sales action in Mordreds thread.

As for the main villain thing. Did we not know that two face would be in the last one? I higjly doubt they could keep that secret. Especially now.

We knew Harvey Dent would be in the movie and most of us knew that Harvey Dent was Two Face.  No info about Two Face was revealed before the movie, though.  At least, no info that I could find.

Oh yeah! I keep forgetting about Mordreds thread. That's quite the  nice thread. However it has slipped of my Radar. :/

Bruce Wayne dies in the first 20 min. Leonardo Dicaprio's character puts on the uniform and takes over the role to defeat Bane.

Edit: I don't think it will outgross TDK.

What? Successors of movies almost always do better than the first. Especially one of this caliper! The Dark Knight Rises will for sure surpass The Dark Knight.

You mean successors.

One must consider the immense hype behind this movie (youtube, facebook, other places on the internet, everyday life). Last time, Heath's (unfortunate) death, got people talking about the film a lot and his role and so on but this time, we know these films are some of the greatest hero movies of our time.

Plus, we have Bane, which is admittedly not as big a villain as the Joker BUT this time around we know Hardy is a phenomenal actor (OK, we knew Heath was good, but would he fit the role?) and what we've seen of Bane in the trailers is shockingly amazing.

The third thing to consider is that the 'overseas' market has grown immensely since TDK released and I expect this movie to really tap a lot more into that. So, while it might stay flat or slightly down compared to TDK in US and A, it will almost definitely outgross it 'overseas'.

You don't have to tell me! I know what this movie could and will do!

I agree. Acting looks pretty top notch for Bane. He could be as good as Joker was last movie just with a more scary feeling. That Football scene is also really hype targeted and I think it worked well.

AKA, they really planned this movie out well.
