And you can get that extracted to be able to donate it...? O_O
That sounds like it would hurt.

Plasma is in your blood. You get a needle stuck in your arm, just like you would for donating blood. The blood is taken out, and after a certain amount is out, the red blood cells get put back in (as it is being taken out the machine extracts the plasma from the blood). The most painful part of the whole precedure is getting your finger pricked at the beginning. Otherwise it is completely painless (even moreso once your arm gets used to getting poked).
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
Yes, I have.
But I am a Democrat, so I donated someone else's blood and crowed about how righteous and generous I am anyway.
Yes, I have. My blood is 0- and therefore i'm kind of impelled to do it, as I am a universal donor and people with my very same type of blood only can get ours.

It sucks too because I really want a tattoo (I've got a sleeve design which looks AMAZING!) but fuck needles, they're the work of the devil! D:< |
I have a pretty crippling fear of needles as well, but I also have tattoos. Maybe you are different, but the problem I have always had with shots and the like is the sensation of being pierced by the needles. If it is 100% psychological for you, then I guess that would be difficult to overcome, but getting a tattoo really feels nothing like getting a shot. More like someone pinching you a bunch of times. Not even sure the point of this post, just figured I'd tell you that in case it helps you get the tattoo you really want.

Oh... well that sounds quite simple then. I'm sure I'll do it sometime when I'm older as my blood is precious. (The one that can be Universaly used.)
EDIT: That actually sounds like a long process. xD
