In the US they pay you for donating blood?

Yes I have, at the auto-show a few times. No it isn't painful. I did it for charity, non-paid venture. Nor did I feel 'weak' or anything. It's just a good thing to do once and a while. Just like I don't give money to bums on the street, cause most of them are fake. I give money to charities run by Fire Fighters and such. I support good causes when I can.

Some times. Depends, there are blood charity drives that the Red Cross does, and such that mostly doesn't give money. But there are certainly cases that they do pay you a little bit for your blood.

Generally, no.

The rates above are for plasma.

You don't get money for donating blood. Plasma depends on where you go (generally $35-50/trip)

I didn't donate it but I got a blood test before.. it doesn't hurt but for me it is really scary and I cannot donate blood because of it, I basically pass out, I get extremely light headed and cold sweats for about 30 minutes after its over... I refuse to go through that otherwise I would

Not here you don't.  You just get paid $10 to get the tenaus shot, which I do still do lol.
