Ever donate blood?

I didn't donate it but I got a blood test before.. it doesn't hurt but for me it is really scary and I cannot donate blood because of it, I basically pass out, I get extremely light headed and cold sweats for about 30 minutes after its over... I refuse to go through that otherwise I would
