Since so many of us at VGChartz have a love for Final Fantasy. I thought it might be fun if we each share our favorite moments in the series.  

Spoilers are allowed in this thread.

My personal favorite, though there are many great moments in the series, was one from FF IV.

When Cecil climbs Mt. Ordeals and faces his inner demons to become a paladin. This moment was very epic to me as he finally decided where his life was heading and stopped following the plans others decided for him. With his soul in check he became stronger and more resolved to face a mulitude of much more challanging issues.

What was yours?

It's been such a long time, but that ending of FF9, I wish I could remember it precisely. Where Zidane defeats that bad guy (his brother I think) and finds the romantic interest (whose name I forget) before the game's credits roll. I think the part that moved me as a kid was that he found her because of her song (though I find that kind of silly now) and it also show to progression for the other characters in the game. It was a really well done ending for me.

Ha, sorry for the wishy-washy moment in FF9, it's been so long.

Perhaps one of the most cringy moments for me in a FF game, though it is quite memorable indeed. I wonder if I should make a thread on the moments that made you cringe the most in a FF game xD.

Crisis Core and FFX's endings. I also thought entering Zanakard in FFX and Oerba in FFXIII were memorable.

FF8 Cards
FF7 cliche' but Aerith death scene. Also Weapon/s reeking havoc!
FF3 (USA) Kefka destroying the world/ Kefka killing General... was was that geneal's name again?
FF9 Chocobo Treasure hunting. One of the funnest side quests in the series
FFX Depressing Music

Celes attempting to commit suicide at the beginning of the World of Ruin FF6

It was a cool concept, but it lead to stringing along battles to keep drawing magic. I wasn't a fan after a while.
