Sounds like BS to spur console negativity.
This was rampant towards the Wii this past generation, in an effort to influence anyone, anywhere that Wii development was a bad idea.

Why cancel it if it was already successfully ported? Maybe EA doesn't expect WiiU to reach the target audience for its game...

It's not only about porting, but also having the market to sell. I'm expecting better 3rd party support, but some games won't come to Wii U as the developers will believe there's no market for it.
