However, it also lists "/x86" showing that they were not sure what to use and this was just a target. We also know that all rumors for the last year point to PowerPC cpu as the only choice used so it can have backwards compatibility all in its single CPU setup. |
My post wasnt meant to imply that a 6 - 8 core setup isnt possible with a ARM cpu...my point was that ARM cpu's are weak compared to intel/amd/IBM cpu's.
An 8 core ARM cpu to be launched at retail in 2013 is going to be fairly weak, based on ARM's current roadmap.
