Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft admit that Leaked Nextbox document is real!!

That was 2010 and many tweaks and changes happen within 2 years depending on the marketplace.

Also the $299 i suspect is like the "Core" console. The Kinect V2 bundle will be much more

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

That's more likely, they launched with the pro console and arcade this gen did they not? $299 for a console and hdd, $350-399 for Kinect.

Nintendo will continue its usual course without a blip in its track record imho. They've been doing this for years, I don't think this is a source of concern for them.

It may affect Sony, but not Nintendo. Alot of Nintendo's success comes from retail, and its getting its digital service ready for WiiU anyways. I guess streaming is the last bridge for Nintendo to cross, but it's not a necessity.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves yet, we don't know how developed their online network is, I mean it's stil using friend-codes, I know it's been updated, but still... friend codes? Why? Iwatamelon himself said they wouldn't try to compete with PSN/XBL as their too far ahea..., which is a BS statement, but that's for another thread.

they already changed the plan, like the nextbox dev kit have 12GB now, according to B3D

it's real, but some of info not accurate anymore

Nintendo's online network. You said streaming is the last bridge for Nintendo to cross, I disagree.

Here's the Iwata comment: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/353614/iwata-xbox-live-and-psn-are-too-far-developed-for-nintendo-to-catch-up/

And here's the thing about friend codes: http://uk.ign.com/articles/2012/06/13/wii-u-will-feature-simplified-friend-codes

Iwata comment: That's just another way for Nintendo to say "We're going our own way". If you disagree, name what they need to have to rival PS/XB other than fancy non-gaming extras.

Every Xbox 720 will ship with Kinect v2, anything else wouldn't make sense.

The document even says so ("Launch price point: $299 (with Kinect v2)").

The doc being removed by Microsoft laywers does not equal the doc being legit. (Even though it could have been in 2010).

You should change your thread title.

Yes, it does.

Their last console that won't need to be upgraded?

Looks like PS2 will need to step down from the throne... eventually.
