I don't think PS4 or XBox720 will launch without a SKU that is less than $400.

The Last of Us didn't win those best of show awards because it has graphics that are better than anything we've seen before on consoles. You seem to have the misunderstanding that a game running on the same engine means its the same two games technically.

I think you've misunderstood me. I'm not saying that because it's on the same engine (ND engine) it can't improve visually (technically), I'm saying the engine hasn't been updated/improved in anyway whatsoever, aside from using a different lighting style or something. The game hasn't been improved visually over U3 in any way.

Maybe this will explain it better:

UC = ND engine 1.0

UC2 = ND engine 2.0

UC3 = ND engine 3.1

TLOU = ND engine 3.1 (or 3.2, either way the difference is incredibly small)

See how it isn't a progression as the others were? Looks like we're hitting a wall to me.

How do you know NAUGHTY DOG'S "engine hasn't been updated/improved in anyway whatsoever"?

You've right, I'm confused with the wording lol... sorry about that. But read the rest an you'll know what I mean, point still stands regardless of some wording error. No visual progression.

Personally,

I'm all for the PS4 being powerful...that would be great (as long as it doesn't cost more than $400).....but what we don't need, is a new system coming sooner than we actually need, just for "the hell of it".

I personally think $400 is the best entry price point. Then make an advanced bundle at $450-500 with a 1TB HDD and...I don't know, I am not Sony's idea man. $400 makes sense to me for a new console, and people would ride that train I believe. $500 is pushing it for the low-side entry bundle.

I'm hoping for 5D this time! and make it work Sony as last time i tried 4D on PS3 it did not work goddammit!
