My absolute favorite action-adventure game, I'm really looking forward to trying out OkamiDen after I finish Laytan and the Diabolical Box.

I think "HD Collections" are better for the PSVITA instead of the PS3. I will buy ZOEHD on PSVITA, I would have bought the MGS collection for the PSVITA if it had come the same day as the PS3 version (including Peace Walker HD)

I dont know why, but it just feels better. Maybe that is because those graphics on the PSVITA OLED screen look TERRIFIC!!! but those games compared to their PS3 original counterparts, dont look as good.

Also, I think that even though Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is not an HD remaster, for the graphics they are aiming, it would look way better on the PSVITA, and that is why I will buy that version (and it is also cheaper)

If Okami HD comes to PSVITA I will buy it.

I would like that every HD remaster that comes for the PS3 also comes to the PSVITA :D

I played the wii port, which was probably the superior version, so this doesn't excite me but I really want a sequel for the PSVita or Wii U.

I would love a sequel since its been 5 years I played the game, but Crapcpcom shut down the studio. But most of the staff went to Platinum I heard.

Yea most of them are at platinum. Hopfully cpcom ccan make a good enough sequal one day.

What you mean by success? Not every game has to sell CoD like numbers. Team ICO games still produce original games eventough they don't sell millions. Its a critically acclaimed game and ranked one of the highest of last gen.

 

Ôkami was one of the best PS2 games last gen, I hope they release a retail HD remaster of it. Will buy it again. 50 hours of awesomenes, and its not even an rpg.

Yeah, every game doesn't have to sell like COD  to be called a success, but Okami sold poor, you can't deny that. It was hyped by videogame's media, but it didn't do any good, at the end.

When it sold bad on PS2 everyone said that it was because of the PS3 launch. Then, it sold poor on Wii and there was no excuse.

Obviously Okami is a charming title, and even though I didn't like it, it doesn't mean it was a bad game,, but if we can argue about quality, we can't discuss about sales.

Hyped? Is every good hyped game that doesnt sell considered a flop? Killzone 2 was also hyped to death but didnt sell great numbers, yet its generally accepted as a great game, with a nice 92 on metacritic. I dont remember there being any hype at all for Ôkami. It became a cult hit like Demon's Souls, a small fanbase that was very fond of the game.

Demon's souls sold more than all Okami versions combined!

Anyway, I didn't want to say that every hyped game that doesn't sell is a flop, I said Okami didn't sold good. For me 1+ million, on the three biggest platforms ever, is not a success saleswise, not even close.

hmm.. I saw the trailer on gametrailers and while they did improve the res a bit it's nowhere near as much a difference as the comparison tries to tell us

for people who pick up the HD version I hope they improved loading times A LOT

The wii version sold 500k accordingly to VGC, but I believe Capcom said it sold 600k, which kinda makes sense when you look at the EU numbers for the Wii game.

Still, 650k on PS2, 600k on Wii, 400k on PS3? That'd be my guess.

600K on the Wii ain't bad at all.

Another 400K on the PS3 would probably make this game profitable when all is said and done.

I am very happy it's coming. Will definitely buy it.
