Resistance - It felt hopelessly generic at the time and the mechanics were outdated. I gather the sequels improved dramatically though, although I never played them. Maybe King Kong should get a shout too although not technically a pure FPS.
I would highlight this is just the games I've played I'm mentioning, there are far worse games that I never bothered playing (Duke Nukem Forever for example).

Wow, I own one and played the other for a fair few hours and found them both terrible. I was considering giving the Duke another chance sooner or later tough.... Probably later. I tried really hard to like Duke and push through the first part of the game. Some games just start off slow and boring and I thought this was no expetion. I didn't last...
I'm glad you found enjoyment out of them. Were you there when duke was a 2-D side scroller? I wasn't. Might of helped had I been though.

well to be honest I probably enjoyed Duke cause of the fact I grew up with him. Nothing special, just a nice memory lol.
Haze I enjoyed it cause free radicals made it. Basically it was like similar to their other shooters which dated back to early 2000s.

OH MY GOD YES!! It was an insult to the legendary Turok: Evolution!

My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

The multiplayer is actually quite good, and the flying levels are fun, but the majority of the single-player campaign is so dull and joyless. I know MBP will destroy me if he sees this. |
What the actual FUCK?! We are no longer friends.

That marathon game on the XBL marketplace, graphics and FPS literally made me sick...
Considering the first Halo is the only FPS that literally bored me until I stopped playing it, I gotta say that's it. I heard the first level or so was boring so I forced myself through it. Then I got to the second, and the third I think... And they just weren't any better. I don't know, maybe it's the PC version or something but it just didn't feel any good. I actually had more fun with the first Killzone, and I ended up not completing it either because it got boring somewhere midway through it.
The Fortress of Dr. Radiaki (1994), horrible game that I got free with a PC magazine back in 96.
Hmmmm.
This generation:
The bad:
COD MW3
COD BLOPS2
Killzone 3
Far Cry 2
