Hmm...I'd assuming the split is 160k X360 / 110k PS3 / 85k Wii

If you go by Jan-May last year, X360 is on pace for 5.8m, Wii is on pace for 2.5m, and PS3 is on pace for 3.5m this year...against roughly 7.3m / 4.5m / 4.5m in 2011. If you favor recency, it's more like to be like 5.5m / 3.3m / 2.2m if I had to guess.

the only positive you can say is that the 3ds increased, but it wasn't too hard to do that. Still waiting for a 3ds redesign

I guess NPD always extrapolated Wal-Mart... now with real data the numbers are low for all consoles/portables.

ya know... this whole number counting thing is really boring until the next gen is in full swing. Wake me when holidays 2013 start.

They did extrapolate it. I wonder if this leads to any revisions of past numbers.
