Nothing is free. The companies have to pay the bills one way or another. I don't think we would save that much money. And besides, it's good to see the sun and breath fresh air sometimes

i would if i would  really know that games would be better then and i wouldn't see 95% of developers going bankrupt. if 500 or 1000, compared to all money i spend for a console in one gen, the 500 extra would be only a small part of the whole costs. if i pay 6k or 6.5k for a console in 8 years or so doesn't make a huge difference for me anymore.

I would pay more if it could do all the services and features I wanted from it.

I paid around 1.3k for my computer. It's a gaming machine. Voila~

What RedI said and that I doubt it would serisouly be that cool. Besides, you didn't say when and if they would make another one with am upgrade.

Well People spend 1000$ Plus on phone contracts. I'm sure some people would.

PS3 was basically all you named (games, graphics, gameplay) plus a strong ass brand-name at $600 (not $1,000) and we all know what happened. An $1,000 console wouldn't stand a chance, and people would see right through the $50 monthly plan or whatever.

I don't pay for things with other people's money.

I might consider buying a $1000 console paying upfront when I get a full time job, if it was worth it. But I really doubt any amount of games could persuade me.

and the rest of the fools who bought it would be stuck looking foolish with basically an undersupported $1,000 console.

But as we discovered this generation....there are tons of fools out there........many tons.

Your not reading the thread. Just pretend this console has every game you would want in a console and it entices you in every way. Would you then buy it with monthly payments?

So then free games and free online then?

Also, what about the other exclusives from other 1st party publishers?
