There will be a Madden game on Wii U this year, EA confirmed today at E3. The company also announced that more details about this game and the recently announced FIFA game for Wii U will be coming later this summer.

The Madden demo EA showed off in their press conference earlier this week focused on deeper storylines in the game's career modes, focusing on reaching the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It is unknown at this time whether the Wii U version will incorporate these features or who is developing the game.

You guys are funny :) But yeah, that's good. I will expect it to be equal if not better than the PS360 versions. This is a next-gen system after all, with serious backing.

I was considering buying Madden as my first Kinect compatible game. I'm a huge football fan and haven't bought a football game since QB club 2002 for the Gamecube. Now I have to make the decisions between Kinect or Gamepad.

Anyone else slightly concerned we've yet to hear a price/release date for this thing?



PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Who cares... Nintendo should make a Mario Football game. That would be fantastic.

Too bad outside the US no one would care and nintendo don't play like this.

It's going to be a launch window game and will cost around $60, because EA is greedy like that.

Oh, you mean the Wii U. The date and price for Nintendo's last two systems (Wii, 3DS) weren't announced at E3 either and it was confirmed a couple of weeks ago that the Wii U's date and price wouldn't be announced at E3.

Ah, I never knew that. Though it seems everyone is in agreement it will be released this year. So I guess that's cool.
