I wouldn't automatically assume they lost faith in it. So much as they don't seem to know what direction they want to go with it. I love montages too, much better than watching a regular level gameplay for 8 minutes and then being shocked by a 30 second shock moment at the end.

I thought sony would focus the vita to become the west portable (shooter inclined due to its features, like a portable 360). That would explain the lack of japanese support.... but not even that they're doing, the proof was today's conference.

I agree, though, I don't know what they're expecting for Vita. I don't think they do also
