Forums - Nintendo - New info on Wii U controllers. PRO controller pic inside!

I might get it if it's cheap enough. I don't see myself using it that much over the Game Pad.

Now the WiiU has the WiiU GamePad with a touchscreen, Wiiremotes + nunchucks AND a tradicional joystick.
This many options in controllers is unprecedented.
For every kind of experience in gaming. That's awesome!

It makes sense that the analogue stick placement is symmetrical and high, to mirror to the touch screen controller. You don't want people getting used to touch screen controller, swapping controllers with a mate and then having to get used to different stick placement.

For people that don't like it they still have the classic controllers as an option.

Hahahahahahaha.

"Shocking rip-off Sony! What were they thinking!"

"What? They look nothing alike!"

the x b a y buttons are not a the same place trolololollll, and they place the right joystik in the worst possible place, Nintendo inovate again

no the stick has a perfect place. that's why most people who had a lot of controllers in their hands like me love the 360 controller, that controller is just awesome compared to most other controllers if it comes to handling.

€dit: or did you mean the worst place on the wii u controller? man i should go to bed or so...

i believe they introduced it for longer sessions (because of the weight) and for people who like to play maybe games like cod competitive.

This informative post has no place here, we are still discussing innovation and copying

I've heard that the Wii U GamePad is very comfortable and not too heavy. I probably won't be buyng this.

yeah no clue that's what he said in the video about the weight for longer sessions and something else i believe it was like "for serious gamers" or so.

Why are the buttons below the sticks? Looks uncomfortable to me. I much prefer the Dualshock style like the Classic Controller.

Nintendo have a good track record so I wouldn't worry about it. Since when has Nintendo ever released an uncomfortable controller?

Nintendo 64.

N64 was great.
