Everytime i connect for a bit of multiplayer madness i keep getting a communication error message. I have changed internet provider recently,but that shouldnt cause a problem as i can get on the E-Shop and browser etc perfectly. Anyone else had this problem and is there a solution??
I remember there being a fairly pervasive problem a while back. Do you have the error number?

I know I have. I still can't connect to the server though. (and the problem was there before the update was available)
Contact Nintendo's Support. 
yes ive downloaded the patch and done the update. I tried again tonight, this time i managed to do 2 laps of a race before the communication error. Ive read up on this and it seems to be a common problem, maybe it may be something to do with Nintendos servers?

Maybe. Call Nintendo's Services, like I said before.
