While Vita and 3DS are obviously rivals, they each are still their own distinct consoles. There may be much less people who prefers both, less than you might think. It's like having to choose between a sexy strawberry in glorious 3D, or a Durian the wildly knowned "King of Fruits" in sassy motion. Like I for instance, I will punch a baby for some avocado right straight in the face, but I loathe pickles with a passion!

Most importantly, Nintendo will always be able to stand on their own. Besides, what Nintendo rejects Sony goes after (Binding of Isaac)

Interesting. While after one 3D-movie I start to develop a headache, I'm fine with the 3DS. After buying it I played a two- or three-hour-session at first, with 3D on and without any bad experiences. But people react VERY different on stereoscopic 3D with the different technologies to create it. I think stereoscopic 3D will not stay. Probably we get a better technology, something holographic or so.

SOny fans dont like 3D O_O

No, good 3D can be very enjoyable, adding extra depth that can really enhance the experience

however, crap 3D  that can only be viewed from an incredibly limited angle can be mind numbing and distracting, especially crap 3D on top of crap graphics then it just becomes nauseating hence the:
