oh, and as an aside: Of all my friends, I'm the only one who can play the 3DS with 3D on without getting a headache. My brother (who loves the 3DS) says he can't play for more than 5 minutes without having to puke. my other friend actually had to take a nap and some gravol after playing Ocarina of time 3D for an hour.

That's what I do whenever I think "How would that look in 3D?" or "How awesome would that be in 3D?". I have though played an entire level of Super Mario 3D Land in 3D. It's looks incredible. To me, 3D is the icing on a vanilla cake. And I love vanilla... and cake...

you're quite fortunate to be ABLE to use the 3D, let alone enjoy it.  It's still an aesthetic gimmick.  When they start using it in gameplay somehow or making it anything more than an aesthetic gimmick,  I'll consider changing my stance.

I disagree and i raise you. Who wants HD on a small screen when you can have it on a big screen TV?

The Vita does not give me a different or better experience than what i have on a PS3.

Perspectives.

You cant take TV's with you on a train.  TV's don't have touch screens.  TV's don't have gyros, and only a few TV's have cameras embedded in them.  your argument fails.  3D brings nothing, gameplay-wise, to the table, it's just a aesthetic gimmick. 


And HD on a small screen brings lots of new gameplay ideas? Theres more to the 3DS than the 3D. The 3D brings a new perspective on the games, aswell as increased imersion in the world, wether you like to recognise it or not. Fact is, this experience is in your hands with no need for glasses. You cant have it on any home console except on select games and if you spend rivers of money on a new TV.

Why would i need to experience a weaker version of what i have at home on the move, when i can have something completely different and enjoyable?

So making phones with HD screens is not a good idea when you can just buy an iPad?

Thats a terrible post you realise that?

What is the difference between a phone and an iPad? What is the difference between a 3DS and a Vita? Its on the word man... a phone is used to make calls, and iPad is used for work and casual gaming. 3DS and Vita are handheld consoles.
