3ds for sure

3DS + Wii U dual platform.

Much like Super Smash Bros. and the next NSMB.

I don't care as long as it's only offline or i think we are doomed.

Pretty sure they said DQX is online but the following ones won't be.

Similar to how FFXI is online but not others.

I think it will be on the 3ds.The 3ds is selling huge in japan and considering how the dq franchise is in japan,They'll make it for the most popular platform

Beaten to the punch. Although, I would rather prefer they stay on the handheld. I would love to see the series on Vita but considering how well 3DS is doing in Japan, it will most likely be on the 3DS.

Exactly what I expect.

I REALLY hope for 3DS.

I was really happy with how the DS Dragon Quest turned out, and still think it is the game that utilized the portability of the DS better than any other game has ever utilized a handheld system ever before; largely due to the co-operative gameplay of the game. I am hoping they take what they did with the DS Dragon Quest, and build heavily on it. Allow for co-operative multiplayer again, but this time I really hope they don't go with a generic cast until after the main story is complete - I would love to see a DQ5 caliber cast (I'd even settle for a DQ8 caliber cast). I would also love more building options, something even more extensive than what happened with Terranigma.
