360s launch year was well known to have a drought of games until Gears came along....and that was after PS3 launched. 



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

The survey is probably questionable, a significant survey must be made following some precise rules, although a biased survey can be significant too, if well made, but it has a completely different meaning from one with randomly chosen participants (for example "a survey amongst male teen console gamers" isn't surely indicative of the whole population's opinions, but it can be significant and useful for commercial, health, education and many other purposes).
But the reactions are pure GOLD!!!

it's worth noting that 60K+ is a good sample size, anyone who says otherwise is trying REAL hard to downplay the results and will do anything to discredit a conclusion they don't like.

That said, PS3 is the best console right now (regularly selling the most hardware of the three), so of course THAT brand has a slight edge at the moment. we have no right to claim anything about the next generation of consoles until we see them in action, and neither the PS4 nor 720 have been officially revealed yet. Hell, we don't even know if they're going to use physical media or not! we can't say anything, and dozens of single announcements could, in theory, tip the scales.

At least wait until the systems have been unveiled, but don't claim the sample size is inadequate, that just makes you reek of desperation.

no software was sold for 360 for a full year and then after that full year 360 ONLY got about as much software as a lunch console

The only way would be to ask the admins for his IP address and I'm not even sure that would work.

If both were actually serious, they would place both their bets in escrow or set up a trust account that could accrue interest over the next three and a half years, which is about how long it will take to see who was right and who was out $1k.

You can't place a real bet without laying money on the table first.

I'm really 17. I don't know why but VGC has my age one year younger than what it really is. My birthday is in a few days & I'll be 18 then. Two years after the PS4/720 launches, I'll be well over 20. I'll have the cash.

I'm not too sure, but Isn't betting like that illegal in the States anyway? How are you going to get money from him through the courts?

Thats what I never understood. If the Ps3 was "the best console" and "the most wanted console" like people are still claiming, then wouldn't the Ps3 have at least taken over xbox by now?

I mean now there are no excuses. Ps3 is affordable and it's been out for 6 years.

it's more about what saved a specific companies ass sales wise
