Demo impressions are not great.

In terms of the premise, 2012 + Music festival is instant fail in my books. In terms of gameplay, the cars feel heavy, like usual forza games, and floaty at the same time, which is what you expect in arcade racers.

I only got to play for 5 minutes, but from what I played it was great. The controls felt a little floaty at first, but I changed one of difficulty settings from "normal" to "simulation" and then it felt like the forza controls I've known to love. I recommend doing this for any Forza fans out there.

Going to give the demo anotehr go when I have more time later.

handling is great.

Game plays so beautifully. Arcade events and feel, with much better controls/options than games like NFS. I really like the way it can be as arcade or as simmy as you want.

Also offroad feels very impressive.

Day 1 for me without a doubt. Id be physically stupid to get NFS over this.

Ive never played a demo for 5 straight hours before. Horizon had me do tat.

I guess it should be up next week for non gold members, will try it then.
The festival stuff doesn't sound all that exciting, but as long as that's just menu stuff and I get to drive around freely, that's fine.

You can drive around freely. And access events anytime you want. Map is humungous. And theres loads to do outside the events. But the festival stuff looks like incredible fun.

Truly an amazing game  here. Really hyped now. Night driving looks ace as well. Off Road is so good.

I thought the demo was a bit meh. Why do they force you to free roam in the shitty evo? Give me the viper. Still a day 1 LCE for me but the demo left me wanting.

If you can change the car I couldnt find out how.
