Forums - Nintendo - Crysis 3 Up And Running On Wii U ?

Rumor has it that Crytek employees have got Crysis 3 running on Wii U.

Not only that, claims that if the tablet is turned off, this baby will be running at a smooth 1080p for your ganing pleasure.

Of course just a rumor, but a good bit of news for sure.

What ever happened to "fat chance" of Crysis heading to Wii U?

"the game run on dx9" Stopped reading right there, the guy is clearly making shit up, or at least doesn't know what he is talking about and can be trusted on technical details.

Edit: Oh crap just looked at the origonal post through google translate and it has a troll face at the end... FFS why would anyone take that seriously? Not to mention using a shadowing technique as an example of better particle effects, saying that by droping a 480p video feed which can just be a static image will allow them to go from 720p at 30fps to 1080p which is 2.5x more pixels than 720p and 480p is just a 3rd of the number of pixels of 720p.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

I really hope Nintendo allowd developers to not force to use the tablet controller as it could reach 1080p

As zarx pointed out, dx9 is a proprietary API set, owned by Microsoft, that facilitate the development of games in Microsoft owned systems. Therefore, there is no way a Nintendo system could support it, which strongly suggests this rumor to be a hoax.
