Maybe I'm missing something here, but PS3 got adjusted up, X360 got adjusted up even more, but this week PS3 is damn close to X360 in the USA, for no reason?

How'd that happen then.

Decent opening for Prototype 2 in the USA

Wasn't ps3 reduced to $199 in some retailers in America? Its most likely that.

@response to CGI too (not gonna multiquote)

Yeah, you two are right, the PS3 price reduction at Gamestop (And Amazon?) slipped my mind, seems like a likely cause for the increase

playstation family > Nintendo family this week, thats odd

What happened with PSP in Europe?

Either the 'Xbox is cool' mentality in the US is slowly dying down after 5 years, or a big game came out for the PS3 that I didn't know about.

These numbers seem odd in general, those PSP numbers in Europe seem really high.

Nintendo's sales data showed that PSP was vastly undertracked in Europe. It has sold way more in Europe during recent moths than vgchartz has showed. That new model with 99€ price tag was pretty genius move during these economically hard times.

Just a tad surprised in that the US sales seem to indicate the thought process is more along the lines of 'I don't have a PSP so might as well get a Vita', whereas in Europe it's a 50/50 sales split. That 99 euro price tag must be really alluring.

uk had a ps3 jump as well

Looks like the Vita is REALLY starting to struggle now...

And I'm surprised. I expected the 3DS/PS3 to be closer, if not the PS3 ahead! I don't think it'll have much of a chance now :/

Also, Xenoblade around 25k again this week? Not bad!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Vita still selling poorly, Sony need to release it in more territories and bundle it with a memory card and some game come E3.

Prototype 2 didn't do to well compared to the first one, combined sales of the first game were nearly 300K week one in America, now they've slipped by 40K :/ (oddly it only fell on the 360 version, PS3 version was virtually the exact same sales).

Adjustments soon.
