Who wants to play a dumbed down Uncharted Game on a small screen when you can play 3 great Uncharted games on a big screen with proper controls?

What if you can play a great Uncharted game on a small screen? That's the hope. That's when it would become a compelling product (with other great games too). Little Big Planet is not out yet, when it'll come out the Vita will be more compelling. And of course more need to come.

I haven't played the portable Uncharted yet, but the one on PS3 is fantastic, I would be hard-pressed to know that the portable game made by another studio was as good, but others could maybe give a more solid opinion.

I have finished all 3 uncharted games on the PS3, many, many times. They are all awesome. But, Uncharted GA is just a weak Uncharted game, the controls are very uncomfortable too.

He's right, it's not strong right now - in sales, ok?

The software just isn't there, and unlike 3DS in its worse time (a time people talk bad, but was selling 3 times better than vita) the future is grim with options. There's currently no huge games in Vita's oven. That game that Vita will be known for. None.

Maybe Soul Sacrifice :)

Vita games will allways be compared to PS3 games and that is the main problem of the Vita...

The problem is Vita allowing itself to be compared to PS3. Had there been enough quality games meant for handhelds to begin with, this wouldn't have been a problem.

Never blame the consumer.

And what else is new? Did anyone in their right mind actually think that the Vita would be a massive success?

edit: I needed that, aww man that just made my day

Realistically, the PS-Vita is an impressive piece of technology but it is (obviously) a fairly lacking product ...

In videogame terms, a good product is the one where the technology, form factor, operating system, services, games, marketing all line up with what people want at that point in time. While the PS-Vita's technology is impressive I'm not convinced that a "Hardcore" gamer handheld was what people wanted, and I think they may have been better off producing a gamer tablet; which would have required a different operating system and form factor. The services offered are pretty vanilla, and Sony has yet to provide any games that would inspire anyone to buy the system.

its simply too expensive. why do sony always do this? it should be much cheaper
