Diddy Kong Racing was an okay game. Until you got to the final boss and it was impossible to beat him.

Was that that giant pig dude?

I beat him, but it took a while.

Yup. Instead of trying to beat him, I played a much better Rare title: Jet Force Gemini

You lost me in the second half of your second sentence.

I guess it's way too late for this now, but the trick is to let go of the A button just before you run over the boost arrows, giving you a massive green boost.

And on top of that, once you've beaten him there's another Space themed area where you eventually will face him again.

Game was a 10/10 when it first came out. I remember getting it for Christmas. I played countless, countless hours of battle and racing with my sisters and friends. So much fun...

Years later it's still as kickass as it was before. =D

I vote for another Diddy Kong racing. They can add online mode with different vehicles (cars, planes etc.) of course, humor, pop soundtrack and wild stages (waterfall, jungle) Lots of interactions. This game can be a breath of fresh air.

Never played the original (not sure why, probably too busy with Mario Kart 64), but I had the DS one a few years ago. It was decent fun so I'd give it a 4 or 5 out of 10.

I mean GoldenEye 007

I'd love to see a sequel! Or perhaps if MK took some of the features from DKR like hoovers and air planes! It's a great game - that's why I gave it a 7. 7 is great, 8 is amazing, 9 is a masterpiece and 10 is perfection.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Rare ruled the gaming world at the time this game came out. So many great titles from them.

A sequel though? Without that Rare, there's no point; and no other team except EAD could do it justice, and they already have Mario Kart (MK7 took features from this game, and in a way is a spiritual sequel to both series).

While I do agree that there's nothing quite like Rare, Retro Studios managed to make a great revival of the Donkey Kong Country series (and also helped developing Mario Kart 7). They should be able to get the job done (although I suppose they are hard at work developing Wii U titles at the moment).
