Conker/ BATTLETOADS!!!
So long as Microsoft have no say in it, i.e. it has nothing to do with Kinect/ is actually good...
Also, another Banjo game wouldn't go amiss...

Sad part is that Rare's boss is from Microsoft, which means that Rare basically choose the Kinect path themselves.
They really are beyond rescue at this point, and I can only think of one 'legendary' employee who's left from the SNES/N64 days.
Edit: I suppose "rescue" is the wrong word. Their Kinect titles are highly successful, after all.

That's what I mean. You look at the quality of games they've released for the 360 (Nuts and Bolts, Kinect titles) compared to those released on the N64 (pretty much everything in the poll), you can see there's a lot of potential from the IP's simply going to waste. That's sad.

Can't find any concrete evidence on who owns the IP, but it looks like it's still owned by Rare/MS from what I can find. |
If we look at the not always reliable wikipedia, the game was developed by Rare but more important, it was created by Tim and Chris Stamper who were the founders of Rare. So yes, it's a Rare IP so it's owned by Microsoft.
Please excuse my bad English.
Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

But if anything I guess the Banjo Kazooie may appeal to me, but I think quite a lot of the people nowadays just reminiscent of these old games as they were the best at the time, and may or may not be disappointed severely if these IP are revived. |
Look at Kid Icarus. An old IP can get a great remake.

Blast Corps, Killer Instinct and Battletoads would be my picks! I'd insta-buy any sequel to these franchises.
