Call it what you want. But if you're going to be obnoxious people are going to ignore you. Regardless if you're right.

Maybe, but on the other hand it may get their attention and plant some seed of doubt in their heads. In any case I just wrote a forum post and not an attempt at convincing anyone, I'm not a politician or a preacher :P

I meant big government anywhere creates problems. When government is forced every aspect of our lives problems happen. Europe going bankrupt regardless of ridiculously high taxes is proof of that.

Persoanlly, I support the death penalty. If you're proven beyond a shadow of a doubt as guilty of murder than you deserve to die. I'd rather violent animals be put to death and not be a threat to anyone else.

Here we have the typical contradictions from American right-wingers. "Big government has too much power and/or infringes on our freedoms!" quickly followed by "Give government the power to decide who gets the death penalty, the ultimate attack on a person's freedom!!". Thanks for illustrating exactly what I was mentioning before...

government handing out punishment for someone breaking a law, is not a contridiction. if that were the case, then we should have no laws.

the death penalty, as well as other punishments have always been around, at the start of this country, at a time where government was significantly smaller

They should divide the flights into "low security" and "high security" flights.

Anyone who doesn't want to get a pat down takes a low security flight where everyone can go on board without being searched.

The rest goes through TSA

problem solved!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

those shouldnt be mutually exclusive.

no patdowns, no TSA policies does not mean low security. just as having strip searches and pat downs does not mean high security.

in fact i would argue the TSA is reletively low security, even with their policies of pat downs, while Israel with a lot less invasive practices, is high security.

It's all part of a government plan to generate electricity using the founding fathers. If you make them spin in their graves fast enough then attach some magnets presto, free power.

Bullshit argument. Government is supposed to help protect us. Regulating every aspect of our lives is not protecting us which is what big government often does.

The death penalty is something that actually protects people. It protects people by ridding the world of violent animals. Being against the death penalty tells me you don't consider murderers are still a danger even in prison.

Its merely a puishment for criminals. Don't kill anyone and its pretty easy to avoid.

You're talking about humans. Dehumanize people is disgusting.

And you're wrong. Here in europe the death penalty was banned. We have lower rate of violent crimes than you have in the USA. Death penalty protects nobody.

TSA has to go. Private security is far more efficient and better for customers in airports. Airlines have every reason to compete for better reputation of not allowing incidents and of course the lawsuits that would come if they did.
