Bullshit argument. Government is supposed to help protect us. Regulating every aspect of our lives is not protecting us which is what big government often does.

The death penalty is something that actually protects people. It protects people by ridding the world of violent animals. Being against the death penalty tells me you don't consider murderers are still a danger even in prison.

Its merely a puishment for criminals. Don't kill anyone and its pretty easy to avoid.

And you're wrong. Here in europe the death penalty was banned. We have lower rate of violent crimes than you have in the USA. Death penalty protects nobody.
