The site estimates sold to consumer - and the important element is estimates.  It doesn't track as in track actual numbers but it does make adjustments based on factual figures when it gets them.

It seems pretty unlikely that there are nearly 3 million copies of various Uncharted games rattling around on shelves hence it probably is undertracked a bit and the estimates are off and may need adjusting.

Or maybe there are that many copies kicking around - but like I say I doubt it.  That's just too high a ratio for a series that sells well solidly - retailers wouldn't allow that level of stock to remain and still order more.

Hopefully Uncharted 3 can reach 6 million..then i'l be satisfied...although I'm also one of those guys (like happydolphin) that think the Uncharted series has more potential.

It will come with UC4, this gen seem impossible.

Vgchartz undertracks ps3 software by quite a bit according to sony shipment numbers. But you can't just randomly tack on sales to different games, it has to be done correctly.

Wow very nice, I remember at the last shipment update it was looking like Uncharted was overtracked, glad to see it's almost the opposite now.

Keep in mind people vgchartz isn't tracking the Uncharted/Uncharted 2 game bundle, which is probably getting decent sales.

Its not impossible. There is a chance.

UC3 is gonna keep selling (especially this Holiday), as are U:DF and U2. Golden Abyss will sell for Years on Vita.

Those 4 games have another 3 Million between them. Its now the premiere exclusive franchise on PS3, people will pick it up.
