17.3 million shipped

14.4 million VGC sales

Uncharted: GA: 0.53 million

Uncharted 1: 4.21 million

Uncharted 2: 5.56 million

Uncharted 3: 4.17 million

2.9 million on shelves

seems legit.

 

any way its probably 2 million undertracked/not reported digital sales.

with less than 2 million Vitas in the wild (1.9m) i will guess that Uncharted: GA has shipped ~1.32 million

that leaves 16 million shipped for Uncharted 1, 2, and 3. VGC has it at 13.9 million.

its likely sold 15 million. so 1 million undertracked for 1, 2, 3.

so my guess is sales really look like this:

Uncharted 1: 4.41 million      (.2 million under)

Uncharted 2: 5.81 million      (.25 million under)

Uncharted 3: 4.72 million      (.55 million under)

so that would leave 1.1 million on selves for the 3 games

I think Uncharted is Sony's #1 franchise this gen. GT still living off name recognition from prev gens, had good sales but didnt see to make very much noise this gen with only one release that reviewed pretty well but seemed a disappointment to most fans of the series.


It's the other way around with GT IMO. Reviewed terrible for a GT game but fans of the series loved the game. Especially with the updates.

Completely agree, reviewers got hooked up on the premium/standard debacle instead of the amazing physics model and the equally amazing selection of cars/tracks.

But that is the nature of simulators and to an extent mmos, unless developers include fancy casual-friendly features that people can point out in reviews (look you can make a car with stickers on it, 10/10), the average reviewer is a bit lost and focuses on the 'surface' details of the game insetad, although I can't really complain about them not mentioning the updates  because we had no idea what they would entail.

wonder how much the goty will cost i didnt buy the $25 or any dlc besides a 50 cent chloe skin so it might be better for me to invest in the goty edition which will also net me the new style box art

I know that too, so in other words you think that 3M (aprox) copies are sitting on shelves right now??

I meant that, VGchartz has 14M, and Sony has shipped 17M.    Those 3M of difference CANT be sitting on shelve right now, unless the guys running the stores are idiots.   Max I would think that 500K could be on shelves, and that results on a total of 2.5M units undertracked.
